What kind of characters are you currently accepting?
We are currently accepting original characters of all species except angels. There's also plenty of canons for you to pick from, so don't be afraid to try one of them out.

How many characters can I have?
You can have as many as you want. :) We encourage you to use some discretion as to how much you can feasibly handle, but in the end we're not going to restrain you if you want as few as one character or as many as ten. The great thing about DG is that it's very easy to make a more 'on the side' sort of character, and it's also easy to, well, kill them off. This is a stressful time and there are monsters running amok! It's only a matter of time before characters die off. ;)

I have a part-were or a dhampir. Can they turn humans into werewolves or vampires?
Good question, but no. Think of what you get when you cross a horse with a donkey - a mule. The mules are sterile and can't reproduce. In all technicalities, the part-were or dhampir (even nephilim) can carry children, but their children will either be human or whatever their other half is, depending on whom they do the child-making process with. So if a part-were slept with a human, they'd have a human child, but if the part-were slept with a full were, they'd have a full were. This logic does not apply to the creation of angels, however.

Hybrid/hybrid relationships will result in human children.

Can I use myself as my character's lookalike/play-by/face claim?
We're sorry, but no. It's just not a good idea.

Why don't you guys do a Character/Member/Couple/Thread Of The Month like everyone else does?
1, because 'everyone else does'. Second, it really gets to be a problem if the same people continue to earn this recognition. And third, we really don't want to put any one member above the rest. Have you ever been on a site where no matter how hard you worked, you never got one of those fancy things? Yeah.

SO, I've seen that you keep mentioning wiccans several times on the sight, but I see no specific place for them in the species guide. Are they just a specific type of magician or something else entirely?
