The Argyris Pack was formed by a descendent of the Argyris family, a relative of Lymedius. The Alpha today, Aristedes, is the grandson of the creator, and just as obsessed with blood purity. His pack sports a fairly large number of 14 werewolves and his mate.
The pack has a history of being both regal and brutal. They chase away werewolves who are not of pure blood and will not associate with humans unless they have to. Their strict pack laws include Aristedes arranging marriages within the group, hunting as a pack or not at all, and keeping their lycanthropy a secret. Sometimes, the latter is never an issue, because most parahumans recognize them straight away, and even the humans cannot deny the power they all seem to hold.
These are, ultimately, the elite werewolves of New Orleans.
UPDATE: Additionally, the Argyris pack females have become more and more competitive over the past few years than ever before. As Aristedes is the alpha male of the pack, the alpha female, his mate, is a position almost every Argyris female would die to have. In fact, some have. Aristedes has had six mates in the past, three of which he's had killed because he had reason to believe they were conspiring against his life. This information was, of course, false - other Argyris females planted it in his mind in order to have her killed and hopefully take her position. As for the other three, two have died in fights with fellow Argyris females and one has mysteriously died giving birth to a stillborn child.
Aristedes's current mate, however, a certain Angela Rousseau, is a step ahead of the Argyris females. She is pregnant, but is keeping it a secret from the remainder of the pack, even Aristedes. Her hope is that if she can give birth to Aristedes's child and solidify her position as alpha female before anyone finds out, her position will be secure. Or will it?
